East Peak looks normal, but all of the snow you see there is man-made. Above, is the Tram Cam (elevation about 8000') which looks down on the Gunbarrel run. Again, all of the snow there is being made by the snow guns you see running. To the left, Dipper Cam is at the top of the East Peak lift. Some of the snow here is natural; most is not. |

Here's a great example of "selective snow coverage". The foreground is awash with snow, yet a few hundred feet away is dirt and rocks. A couple of days ago there was absolutely no snow at all. |

Looks are deceiving, but I think that ALL of the snow you see here is man-made. This is at about 6500' I think. |
