The memtest86+ program runs a series of memory tests to make sure that every single bit of memory is working correctly. Once started, it will run until the computer is turned off, but it will keep track of any errors it encounters. The first time I executed the program I let it run for about 70 minutes. This is enough time for the program to run through three complete passes (the column titled "Pass"). The module failed one particular location ("Failing Address") two times ("Count" column indicates "2").

I then stopped the program, re-booted the computer and ran a second test. After almost 42 minutes of testing the module again failed the same address as before ("00002976744"). If you look at the "Good" and "Bad" columns in the two photos, you will see that the data in them is different. This represents the data that is being writen or read from the memory module. The next column over, "Err-Bits", indicates exactly which output pin is failing. The "00000040" in the two photos means that the same data pin has failed in both test runs.
